» amarok vs libgpod 0.4.2

Recently, libgpod-0.4.2 has been pushed into the Packman repository and its mirrors. You might already have noticed that it creates an issue with my amarok RPMs. The point is, the libgpod developers changed the library version from libgpod.so.0 to libgpod.so.1 (notice they did so on a minor release (0.4.0→0.4.2) *doh*). My amarok RPMs (amarok-1.4.4-108) are built against libgpod-0.4.0 and hence, libgpod.so.0. When you upgrade to libgpod-0.4.2, your favorite package manager will uninstall or downgrade amarok because no package is providing libgpod.so.0 any more, on which my amarok RPMs depend. As soon as I noticed that, I've built amarok-1.4.4-109 against libgpod-0.4.2 (libgpod.so.1), but only for openSUSE 10.2 as the libgpod-0.4.2 package on Packman was only available for openSUSE 10.2 at that moment. Now that libgpod-0.4.2 has been built for all SUSE versions and is available as such in the Packman repository, I am building amarok-1.4.4-109 on other SUSE versions as well. That amarok release will show up in my repository, either around 15:00 CET or 22:30 CET.
